Living on the Moon! Yes or No?

I would like to live on the moon because I can explore the planets, near it.

I want to live on the moon so I can meet aliens.
I want to live on the moon to see how its like to live on space and to see the planet Saturn.
I can see earth, from a distance if I live on the moon.
If I live on the moon I don't have to go school and I don't have to sleep early and wake up early.

I wish I could live on the moon because I can jump really high.

Duffy Hero Assembly- Starring Tasha Ohana

Hurray!! A singer  came to our school!

Today a singer came to our school for Duffy hero assembly. She performed at X Factor NZ 2015. Her name is Tasha.

First she told us all about her life. Then she sang a song. She has very nice voice.

Next we all asked questions. I asked a question too.. My brothers question was the best because he said "did you ever had that beautiful singing voice?". 

Then she sang a song called Price tag by Jessie J. Mary, Eti and I asked for her autograph. But she said she doesn't want to mess up our clothes. Then she gave me a big cossy hug.

I ran to class.

1. Fold the paper from the short end to the long end to triangle

2. Fold the extra end to the back to make a square.

3. Cut the extra end.

4. Open the square and fold it in half and fold it again to make quarters, and open it.

5. Trace a circle on to the and measure 1cm on each 4 sides.

6. Number and initial each quarter.

7. Cut the circle into quarters.

8. Draw in each quarter.

9. Trace your drawing with pastels.

10. Colour the background.

Christmas

We need to celebrate Christmas so we can have fun, because it is Jesus' birthday.

 Celebrating christmas is important so we can have presents. We can gather with our family and go to the beach.

Christmas is important because it is a day when Jesus was born. We can have exciting trip to our country. We can have a christmas parade, watch movies, and do fire works.

 I think christmas is awesome because we can praise the Lord. 

The Wonky Donkey

Omg!! A donkey with three legs!!

One sunny day I saw a donkey with three legs because he fell over a big rock and broke his leg. He was half blind because he lost his eyeglasses. When I hugged him he smelt very bad because he did a fart.

When we listened to rock music he danced because he dreamed to be a rock star.  He dressed up as Elvis because he was a big fan. Donkey always bothered his neighbour because he taught of them as his friends.

His neighbours always knock on the door to asked if he ate their washing.

That's how he was called the wonky donkey.

When an Earthquake hits

 

Today we have been discussing what to do in an earthquake. The safest options are to Drop, Cover and Hold. In class Miss Paton took photographs of us under the tables and under the door frame.
