Mmmm! The cake was delicious

Monday the 28th of November was my cousin's birthday and he was turning Sixteen years old. We were having a party for him at my house.

After school, my aunty drove us to her house to get changed. When everyone was ready, we drove to my house where the party was taking place because our house was bigger. The deck was full of balloons and decorated with crepe paper streamers and triangle streamers that had 'Happy Birthday' written on them.

Before long, everyone arrived and my sister said the welcoming speech and my cousin Patelesio said the grace. Then Tevita blew out the candles on his birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday to him. The cake was a chocolate mud cake from the Cheesecake factory. Tevita got two presents. A pair of Nike shoes and an Iphone 6 plus.

After a while, everyone got up and filled their plates with food. We had meat patties, sausages, rotisserie chickens, vegetable and potato salads. We also had Fanta for our drinks.

Afterwards, Tevita said his thank you speech to show his appreciation. Tevita cried and so did my mum and his mum. Soon it was time for some activities. We played volleyball with a balloon and we also played musical chairs. My sister blasted some music through her moki speaker. My brother won all the rounds in musical chairs.

Then we all had an ice cream cone of Neapolitan ice cream and a plate of chocolate mudcake. The cake was very delicious and very chocolatey. I kept washing my face afterwards because my face was full of chocolate.

After a while, we all cleaned up the deck and played with my dog 'Tolo'. We ran around the house and my dog chased us. We chatted, laughed and ate more cake as time went by.

.Before I left the house to go and sleepover at my aunty's house, I packed some spare clothes so that I could take a there before I went to bed.

I said goodbye to my parents and ran out the door with my heavy bag of clothes. We left my house at around nine because Tevita had to go to work at 10pm. Then we all read a book and soon fell asleep because we had a tiring day.

My favourite part was when we played musical chairs because I hadn't played musical chairs in a while. I hope my cousin had a great day on his birthday.
