My Pets

This week I have been learning to write about my pets.

Kitty and Paws are my pet cats.
Kitty and Paws are black and grey.
Kitty is fat and Paws is skinny.
Kitty is fluffy soft. Paws is soft but rough on the tail.
Kitty's eyes are black while Paws eyes are brown.
Kitty and Paws eats whiskas and friskies.
Kitty is harmful when he plays, but Paws is loving. Kitty is chubby, Paws is cute.
I love Kitty because she always stand outside waiting for us to go home.
I love Paws because he is sick and was taken to the SPCA.
He might die or might not be my pet any more.

This is my All About Me poster. I used Google drive to create my poster. I learnt how to take a photograph of myself, and how to insert word art and how to make lots of shapes. 

Yum yum ice cream!

Ice cream 

Yesterday my class and I made ice cream. First, we crack four eggs and separated the egg yolks and egg whites. Next, we beat the egg whites and it turned fluffy and thick. Then we beat the egg yolks and it turned fluffy and thick too. After that we beat the cream. Next, we put the cream into the egg yolks, and the egg whites into the cream and egg yolk. After that, we added chocolate drops. We put the ice cream in two containers and we place it in the fridge to freeze for 6 hours.

The next day was Friday . Guess what, we had ice cream for lunch. We said that the ice cream we made is better than the ones that are in the shops. It was so,so yummy. 

Supporting Film Festival!

We need to support Film festival so every school could watch each other's movies. Supporting film festival is important so many schools can
participate like Glenbrae school, Stonefields school and Tamaki college and
many other schools. My favourite movie was 'Judge GI'. I like it because it had a
princess in it and she was my favourite actress. I like her because she solved the cases for 'Snow white' and 'The Three bears'. The judge's acting was really good.

Tabloid games are fun!

I like playing tabloid games because it is fun. Playing tabloid games is important because you can play games like Potato race, Hockey, Silent ball, Obstacle race, Basket bins, Sack race and Active race. 

Potato race is important because I can learn how to balance while holding a spoon with a potato on it. Hockey is important because we can learn how to hit the ball gently to get a point.Silent ball is a lesson for you to be quiet in class. 

Obstacle race is important because you can imagine you're going on an adventure! Basket bin is also important because you can learn how to play basketball when you're older. Sack race is also important because you can pretend you are a frog. Active race is important because our blood circulates around our body. 

I think tabloid games are fun and cool. 

Do you have an orphanage you raise money for?

     Should we celebrate Mission Day?


We should celebrate Mission Day so we can donate money to the orphans in India.

It is important to donate money because the orphans don't have any homes to live in.
 They don't have mums and dads.

 St Patrick School should donate to them o they could go to school and learn.
We should celebrate Mission Day so they can buy pencils, books and paper to use at school, from the money we donated. St Patrick School should celebrate Mission Day so they can have clothes to wear and electricity to light their homes.   
  
 I think Mission Day is very very important, to help the poor orphans in India.

Do you know me? I'm a girl from Tonga. 

My name is Lupe and I'm eight years old. My hair is long and black. The colour of my eyes are brown. I always take a bath. I live in Auckland.

My favourite food is butter chicken on rice. I like the movie Jonah from Tonga. I like to play Netball and Emerald is my favourite colour. The book I like best is Lego friends. At school I like art. 

My mum works in a Hotel and my dad delivers paper to the shops every Wednesday. My sister is 13 years old and my brother is 10 years old. My dad is 47 years old and my mum is 41 years old. There are five people in my family.

My best friend is Mary. Jhonny, Tuporo and I like to play cops and robbers. Mary and I are always robbers and Jhonny and Tuporo are always cops. 

I love my family and my family loves me.
