Lets make raw leprechaun bread dough!

Today we celebrated our patron saint, Saint Patrick! After a long day enjoying tabloid games, my teacher decided it would be fun if we made PLAY DOUGH but I like to refer to it as leprechaun bread.

We were split up into 5 uneven groups, woops. Each group received a bowl or pot to hold the ingredients. I was sent to the sick bay to find 5 surgical rubber gloves. As I got back to class everyone had already started. Each group had all the dry ingredients awaiting for their oil, super hot boiling water and green food colouring to be added. I supplied each group with one rubber glove. I've never seen the room 8 students so focused! Shocking right?

A few minutes later, everyone was asking for more flour as the gooey fungous attacked our bowls. Two cups later, our leprechaun bread dough was a success! My group switched to a longer table where we rolled out our dough to an extended length of a rope. We swirled our rope into a swishy swirly spiral. After taking a pleasing photo of our spirals, they ended up being destroyed!

After demolishing our swishy swirly spiral we transformed our spiral into a racing track with the help of polystyrene balls and flexible straws. Our finished product was a success! We demolished our successful race track into a big green slimy ball and slam dunked it into a airtight ziplock bag where it wouldn't rot like my soul.
