Abraham's Journey

I had a great time at my cousin's graduation!

On Sunday the 28th of February my family had a family barbecue at my grandad's house. It was a celebration for my cousin who has graduated from university. Everybody brought food.

Everybody brought her a gift and my family gave her a envelope with 500 dollars in it. My dad asked me to five it to her. When she opened the envelope and saw the 500 dollars, she jumped and hugged me. She loved all her presents.

After all the presents were opened, it was time to get into our swimming togs and to have a swim in the pool. My cousin and I dived into the pool together. None- of the boys wanted to go in the water so my uncle Sefo pushed them in. 

When we were in the water my older cousin Nina took me around on the tiny board. However I fell off the board and started to drown. My cousin Elijah saw me and he dived into the pool and rescued me. Thank goodness he was here.

Soon after we got changed and it was time for dinner! For dinner we had pork, salad, mash potatoes, oysters, pizza and chips. Next we had movie night and we watched Born to dance and Matilda. After that we all went home and went to bed. 

It was exhausting because it was a really busy day.

Success criteria: I know I can do this when I use past tense and sequencing words correctly in my writing.

MIssion Sisters journeys around the World!

Mission Sisters travelled around the world helping people and praying for people. They give people food, they built a hospital for the sick, they even build shelter for the sick and poor. At St. Patrick's School we follow the Mission Sisters by continuing their mission charism through prayer, community and service.

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand the work of the Mission Sisters.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I mark all the places where the Mission Sisters went and the work that they are doing in those countries.

A gymnast Sophia and her enemy Katrina. (made up story)

One day there was a girl named Sophia. She was a talented smart girl, she had long brown hair and played gymnastics, she has 2 sisters and 1 brother.

On July 19 2015 she had a gymnastics meet in Boston. She fell and sprained her ankle while she was practising on the beam. Her family called the ambulance, the ambulance came and took her to the hospital. However her enemy Katrina was in the next room. 

After she overheard, she put a chemical in her drink, to make her sick knowing that she will need to take pills for the pain. After Sophia drank her water and took her pills, she felt even worse. Her temperature went up and she threw up every night. Her doctor said she had diaria, so she stayed in the hospital for another night.

She felt better the next morning and that's when she found out that Katrina did it. She asked the doctor when Katrina is free and the doctor said tomorrow so she asked her father to bring an raw egg. Her plan was to crack it on her head for revenge. 

The next morning Sophia cracked the egg on Katrina's head before she could react. Katrina said sorry, Sophia's parents told Katrina and Sophia to shake hands. Katrina said I wont do it again, Sophia accepted her apology and they were best friends.

Many years later, they both found their other half and decided to have their weddings together on the same day. They celebrated their beautiful wedding with all their loved ones.
