Getting smart with money!!

Hurray!! I am going to learn how to save money!!

Today Tessa from ASB-Get wise came to my school. When she walked in we greeted her. Then Tessa showed us how to look after or save money.

After that she brought her friend in. We had to close our eyes and make a drum roll. When we opened our eyes, Tessa was a coach and said "Sup Im P.T " and everyone started to laugh.

We had to time travel to see thing about why we need money. We have to say time travel 3 times.

She changed into different characters. I like her as a cave woman, because she said ehh,yuck and eww, and she was trading Mammoth tasks for food.

After that she told us a chant. It goes like this, When you earn some money, what do you do? spend some on you and save some 2. She also taught us a dance that goes with the chant.

We did lots of fun activities. She was funny and so cool,  I cracked up I didn't want it to stop. 

Later on she gave us wrist bands. It was grey, with ASB-Get wise, start saving now logo. Ka ching!! She gave us 21 bands.

Finally she grabbed her bag and said "that's it for the day, good bye everyone.

Subtraction From 10

This morning I have been learning to subtract from ten. my equation was 10 - 4 = 6. I used line tool to take four away from ten.

Snail Array

Today I used Movenote to make a video of myself explaining how to count an Array of Snails. My strategies is  5+5=10,  5+5 =10 so 10 +10 =20.  

My Grouping Within Ten

This is my grouping within ten. Today I have been learning to use the shape tool and paint bucket to show my grouping within ten. My grouping within ten was 5+5. I used the cross shape tool to do this.

My last day of badminton

AWW!!  Its the last day of Badminton!!

First we had a warm up. I played stuck in the mud. To play it, you need 2 taggers. All the students need to spread out. 

After that I practised to hit the shuttle. I got better and better.

Then I got the net out. I had to get in groups of six. My group was all girls.

We played Rally Waves. Eti, Mana, Justice, Mary and Akesa were in my group. Eti and Mana were the first people to verse each other. Eti scored lots of points. 

After that Justice had a turn. She tried her best not to lose but then she lost. I said that Eti was the best player in our team.

Later on Coach Ben said it was the last session and I said aww.

Finally we went back to class. 

SPS My grouping within ten 2

This is my second grouping within ten poster. I used 3 Red blocks and 7 Yellow blocks to make ten. I used a combination of numbers and words to create my sentences.
