What do you think about having rubbish bins at school?

I believe that we shouldn't have rubbish bins at our school because we may cause more pollution to our environment and harm the living creatures that are around us.

We shouldn't have rubbish bins because the rubbish that we throw away might get blown out by the wind or birds might take it out and pollute our environment. If this happens, our school environment will become polluted and our health could suffer from the germs and the bacteria.

I also believe that we shouldn't have bins because there are many items that we can either recycle or reuse. For example- If I come to school with sushi for lunch, I can take the sushi container home and reuse the container again for something else.

I strongly believe that we shouldn't have rubbish bins because there are many uses for most of our waste that we are just throwing away. For example, the fruit peels that we throw away can be piled up and made into compost to fertilise our gardens.

People and factories are part of climate change by making plastic and rubbish bins this is why we shouldn't have bins. We should encourage them to be climate change friendly.

In conclusion, not having rubbish bins at our school will encourage everyone to look after our school environment and look at how we can be more sustainable with our resources.

Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the structure of a persuasive writing.

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I explain three reason why we should have rubbish bins at school.
