You can use Onomatopoeias to describe any setting or item!

  • The crystal pool water is like the deep blue sea.
  • The immense pool can be filled with over 67 children.
  • The sound of children's bodies splashing into the water sounds like rain coming down from the sky.
  • The pool water freezes your body like an ice sculpture.
  • The sky is so clear that the reflection from the sun makes the water sparkle as bright as a diamond.
  • As children dive into the crystal blue basin, the ripple of the water gets bigger.

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a description.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write 6 descriptive sentences to describe a pool.
